Only Stories Left: How do people cut their presence on social media within authoritarianism?

The biggest illusion which we can have about social media is that they reflect the real world fully. That could be the plan, but reality turned out to be different. Censorship and self-censorship emerge within the authoritarian context when self-expression can be criminalised. At the end, the online presence became simulacre and drift to far away from the initial prototype. The project is being made to study this process and copings which are used by social media users. The author will share the initial observations and context after which there will be a Q&A session and/or discussion.
