During this evening we will focus on the Israeli patterns of repeated violations of international law and sovereignty.

Pornography is everywhere, yet conversations about it often remain uncomfortable, polarized, or oversimplified. This event rethinks porn through the perspectives of researchers, feminist and freelance filmmakers, and actors. Rather than offering one “right” answer, the event creates space for dialogue, reflection, and open discussion about how porn shapes society, sexuality, relationships, and stereotypes.

With work focusing on peacebuilding efforts in Sudan, Brilliant is a senior project manager at PAX, the largest peace organization in the Netherlands. During his talk, he'll discuss the historical context of the war in Sudan, how we are indirectly involved in this conflict through the global economy, and why Sudan is relevant to all of us, even if we are not directly affected by the war.

Join us for an interesting movie screening and mini lecture organised by Ominum and Maastricht goes to Calais. Followed by a short lecture input by assistant professor Talitha Dubow who will talk about her research on migrant experiences.
